Using the Columbia Southern University online library, research your favorite brand with respect to its effectiveness in new product marketing. Use the most current Interbrand rating of brands as a reference (see Figure 1-5 of your course textbook).

As a prosecutor/defense attorney, you will be confronted with witness identification testimony. Project Proposal

Due Week 3 and worth 150 points

You have been selected to be the project manager (for a project of your choice). The project you choose here will be used again in Assignment 4 (Week 6) and you may be asked to reference this project in subsequent weekly discussions. The project that you decide to use should meet the key criteria of a project, such as (a) having a beginning and an end; (b) results in something being delivered to someone; (c) requires a series of activities that must be done to complete the project; and (d) requires resources (e.g, people, materials) to complete the work. The project can be one of a personal or professional nature.

Write a two to three (2-3) page paper in which you define the scope of your chosen project. In your paper you must:

Provide a brief summary of your chosen project.

One of the best ways to learn a concept is to teach a concept, and in this assignment it will be necessary for the learner to understand and explain the concepts from Modules 1 and 2 in a 7–10-slide PowerPoint presentation. The Internet will be a great resource for completing this assignment because the learner can use keyword phrases to pull the specifics needed to cover the topics and complete the assignment.

You have been asked to create a PowerPoint presentation to train a group of new employees for Future Trends Financial Firm on key concepts of emerging markets. Include the following in your presentation:

Identify and explain key concepts of emerging technologies, highlighting their use and availability for emerging and developed markets.
Define and describe common industry concepts including: institutional voids, business groups, technological capabilities, changing income distribution, and bottom of the pyramid. Please be sure that the correlation between concepts and various markets is appropriate.

For your second submission towards your research paper, you will expand upon the Unit I Research Paper Topic by creating an annotated bibliography. I have chosen the Path-Goal Theory

Your annotated bibliography will include five outside sources from the CSU Online Library that you can use for the research paper due in Unit VII. In the Unit I Research Paper Topic, you located two scholarly sources. You may continue to use these sources for this assignment or choose all new articles.

Within your annotations, you will include a brief summary of the source. The summary should include answers to the following questions:

 What are the author’s main points?

 How does this source fit into my research?

 Is this source objective, or does it have a bias?

 How could I use this information in my paper?

Science Meets Real Life

Whether you think of yourself as an up and coming scientist or not, you use science every day. You will explore how you apply different aspects of science in your daily life in a two part project. In 1,000-words (minimum), discuss the following:

The Scientific Method

Each and every day, you are faced with having to make split-second decisions, and the need to solve random problems that you encounter. To reach those decisions and work those problems out, you are subconsciously using the scientific method. Apply the steps of the Scientific Method to two situations that could occur in your everyday life. Use the scientific method in the first scenario provided by your instructor to solve the problem at hand.

Please come up with a second detailed scenario on your own, using the categories provided by your instructor, and follow the same steps in the scientific method to find a resolution.

For both scenarios, be sure to use terminology from the scientific method (hypothesis, experiment, etc.) while describing how you would address each problem, as well as a minimum of 3 references to provide factual support.

Scenario 1: Read the course announcements to find out the assigned scenario for your project.(It is the first cold day of fall, so you decide to turn your heat on to take the “chill” out of the house.
