Describe each of the three basic categories of sound (dialogue, sound effects, and music).

the advantages of external cascading style sheets (CSS) compared to internal CSS. Explain situations in which each is the appropriate type. Given these situations, which type do you think would be more useful for the majority of web pages?

2: Cascading style sheets are more simple to use and can be faster than internal CSS coding. When you’re in a hurry, as I often am, I can never seem to get things just right when coding. Cascading style sheets can be more simple to use. For example, if you are working on a huge project such as a big website then you would want to do something quick especially if you have a big due date on your layout design. Sometime layout designing can take a long time. You have to pinpoint different areas on one sheet and then you can do them so they work out. It won’t take as long as if you were doing one on internal CSS. Internal CSS you have to manually write in things. I prefer to do something quick. My life is hectic enough as it is and when I’m working on things I like for them to be quick, simple, and good as well. Personally I’ve had to do both before when designing a layout but I prefer cascading just for the simple fact its more simple and easier

4:”Letter Spacing” is used to adjust the length of white space between letters. This can be used to adjust the amount of perceived empty space on the page, most likely to be used in a header. This is an effect you want to utilize very carefully, because if you use it too much (as in too much space between letters), the blatant overuse of it will make your page look unprofessional. I could also see this being used in an “animation” where you use Javascript to stretch out, and condense a word, in a loop. I definitely would use this in a paragraph, unless you are using the page as an example of what not to do.

It seems that more and more we are hearing about violence in our schools. Going to school serves very important developmental experiences that are necessary for children to grow up healthy—physically, cognitively, and socially. Given the wake of Sandy Hook Elementary violence and other cited examples, what do you think? How many of you think that violence is more prevalent in schools than it ever has been before? How many of you think that the media and other social institutions are overly publicizing and making these situations more dramatic than necessary? Who thinks that children going to school are more fearful today of terror and violence than previous generations? Support your impressions with content from three journal articles.

Justin just graduated from the police academy and the Centervale Police Department (CPD) assigned him to a mentor to put his learning into practice.

Justin’s assigned mentor is Anne Doil, a veteran CPD police officer with nine years of service. She is known for being an extremely meticulous officer and has served in several capacities with the CPD. Every year, she teaches a course on criminal justice administration. The course encompasses topics related to reporting, recording facts and evidences, and investigation of crimes. The course also includes topics on forensics, interviewing and interrogation techniques, security, victimology, testimony of witnesses, constitutional law, and corrections.

Some systems duplicate efforts or contain unnecessary steps that waste time and money and could even jeopardize patient health care.
