How can these aspects be leveraged to effect efficient methods of production and acquisition of resources to improve upon organizational costs?

In your final project, you will analyze an investment opportunity applying key components of advanced microeconomics theories to typical business decisions. You will assume the role of an entrepreneur, and you will conduct an analysis focusing on an investment opportunity of your choice. In your analysis you will carefully evaluate key factors influencing the demand for the product, cost and supply issues, the role of market structure, and competitive analysis on firm strategy. You will also analyze the effects of government regulations and market intervention on potential profitability, and you will use price and non-price strategies to support product introduction. Using the above analyses, the last step in your final project requires you to model the potential financial viability of the proposed new product using approximate figures. You will determine whether or not to recommend investing in the development and commercialization of the investment opportunity to your business partners.

Your paper should include the following:

· Costs: Assess what key non-price variables could be expected to affect production costs of the new product. How can these aspects be leveraged to effect efficient methods of production and acquisition of resources to improve upon organizational costs?

· Constraints: Assess constraints that could affect future production and costs. How can these aspects be leveraged to effect efficient methods of production and acquisition of resources to improve upon organizational costs?

· Effects: Assess the effect of potential technology changes on production, costs, or competition. How can these aspects be leveraged to effect efficient methods of production and acquisition of resources to improve upon organizational costs?

Format: The production and resources paper should follow these formatting guidelines: 2–3 pages, double spacing, 12-point Times New Roman font, 1-inch margins, and citations in APA format.

Your analysis should anticipate potential objections to your recommendations and illustrate its superiority over other alternatives. It should be analytic and deliberative in tone. The most persuasive documents are the ones that debate more than advocate. After all, if you do not look at all alternatives, how do you know that you have chosen the best one? In answering the case questions, do not describe the case, but focus on the following three factors: 1) careful analysis of the situation, 2) description of your decisions or recommendations; 3) supporting logic and analyses. Assignments will be described in more detail as we get closer to the due date. Note that these assignments require data analysis as well as creativity/judgment

What is Butters’ accounting profit of being Paris Hilton’s pet bear (show your work)?

Leopold “Butters” Stotch (hereafter referred to as Butters) works as Paris Hilton’s pet bear. He is considering a binary choice today. Starting from now, Butters’ lifetime earnings as a pet bear will be $10,000,000. His lifetime expenses in this job will be $50,000 in dry cleaning of his bear suit, $200,000 in food (because Paris only gives him bear food), and $3,000,000 in costs associated with failed escape attempts. Instead, Butters could become an author; not just any author, but the genius voice of our generation who changes literature as we know it (like Kanye or Pitbull, but for books). His lifetime earnings as an author would be $8,000,000. His expenses for this job would be $20,000 in materials and office equipment, along with $500,000 for a rural home in which to work and live. He would have to borrow the money for those expenses, and he would have to pay back $10,000 in interest. Finally, while he is unemployed and working on his first novel, he could be earning $500,000 working as Paris Hilton’s pet bear.

Evidence-based medicine (EBM), previously translational medicine, can be defined as improving care based on empirical research and/or hands-on practice. The EBM’s approach is based on either direct patient care (bottom-up) or an experiment translated into guidelines (top-down). EBM is used in either in conjunction or as quality assessment tool(s) for continuous quality improvement (CQI). The healthcare leader must utilize the evidence to promote healthcare quality.
