Direct services professionals often face many types of potential ethical dilemmas. The administrators of agencies that employ direct services professionals are responsible for guiding them in ethical decision making in addition to managing nonclinical staff in order to protect client rights. Human services administrators have to be aware of the activities of the agency at every level as managers of employees who have access to confidential information about clients.

In this assignment, you will read a scenario and determine the best course of action to resolve the ethical dilemma presented.

Scenario:

You are the administrator of a human services agency that provides services to a local native American tribe. You discover that a member of the housekeeping staff is “counseling” multiple clients who happen to be members of the tribe where he is an elder.

the minimalism.doc is the work i done so far, but its totally wrong direction and i got some feedback from my tutor:

There is no bibliography and you fail to cite any references in your work. You need to check with the University”s Harvard guidelines that you understand how to do this. A member of staff in the library will be able to help if unsure.
Be careful about what you are using as examples of minimalism. Early writing probably should be avoided – this wasn”t a consciousness minimal approach. Minimalism is a design approach.
Look more closely at modernism and it”s influence today – it it (and it”s message of minimalism) dominant today? is it a fashion trend, coming and going, or more permanent?
Modernism could be better introduced – by using sources and quotes.
Define what minimalism is – we need to make sure we are clear. Find a quote.

Until the mid-1960s, most Americans believed they lived in a peace-loving nation, which went to war only in self-defense and to uphold democratic ideals. To preach peace, however has never committed the nation to a philosophy of nonviolence. The United States won its independence in a war, fought a civil war to remain united, and has continued to exist through selective but regular use of its military power, not always justified but usually with the approval of its people. Ironically, to return the world to peace following the most horrific of all wars, the United States achieved that worthy goal by unleashing the most terrible weapon mankind had ever seen. Clearly, a contradiction exists between the great emphasis Americans have put on peace and the means the nation has used to preserve itself.
As long as the nation remained unvanquished on the battlefield, this ambiguity in its national character could be safely ignored. Into the 1960s. . . virtually all American films about war and the military followed the pattern established from the earliest days of the motion picture industry, showing only the glamorous side of combat—the excitement, the adventure, the camaraderie.

Using the above quotation as a possible point of departure, write an essay in which you discuss the two Clint Eastwood films, Flags of Our Fathers and Letters from Iwo Jima.
