BACKGROUND
The Citys Water Utility Division is soliciting proposals from qualified consultants to design a new Booster Pump Station to push the discharge water from the reservoirs into the distribution system and maintain desired pressure in the system. The Citys goal is to balance the need to maintain minimize water age through cycling of the water in the reservoirs and related water quality concerns, while also upgrading its ability to boost water into the distribution system to maintain adequate pressure to maintain fire flow requirements during emergencies.
