You have spent this semester applying the concepts of globalization to a region/country outside the United States. For this last assignment, you have been chosen to be a guest lecturer at a school in your region of choice. You will be doing a presentation to fourth-graders (children ages 9 to 10) on American culture. Choose a film, a television show/series and a type of music (either by a single artist or a mix representative of a genre). All three of these choices should be significant in showing an aspect of American life or culture to this group. You must explain why you have selected each particular example of the medium. Take the position of Kenya up front. Pretend as if you are a policy adviser for Kenya. You should have some language that is more straightforward: “Kenya values its relationship with Saudi Arabia but needs to push Saudi Arabia for new labor laws that protect Kenyan workers.”

It seems like you have a lot to work with, but… you need to be a little bit more specific in what you are recommending. You write that policy “needs to be streamlined” “friendly” “appropriate” etc. Put a little more specifics in there. What does Kenya want from Saudi Arabia? (more enforcement? closing loopholes? additional restrictions?)

You go a little overboard with your adjectives (e.g. “…necessity for identifying the absolute alternatives…”, “…in order to support an absolute pattern of relationship…”)

The phrasing “it is of essence” is not right. I think you mean, “it is essential”.

American Globalization
